Our Barrel Club offers wine lovers the opportunity to sponsor one of the oak barrels used in our winemaking program. Each barrel is adorned with a custom engraved plate bearing the member’s name and becomes part of our cellar for four years as we craft the wines of Planters Ridge.

It also makes an unforgettable gift, for a milestone birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement, or someone with a genuine love of wine.

Planters Ridge is excited to be joining fellow Nova Scotia wineries for Wines on the Waterfront this Saturday, August 15.

Stop by Foundation Wharf to taste your way through some of the incredible wines being made across our province, enjoy local food pairings, and soak up a summer afternoon by the water.

The vineyard is beginning one of its most beautiful transformations: veraison. 🍇

Veraison is the stage when grapes begin to change colour and ripen, signalling the transition from growth to the slow development of the flavours, aromas, and character that will eventually find their way into each bottle.

So far (*fingers crossed*), the vines are looking incredibly healthy, and it's shaping up to be an abundant vintage.

If you're planning a visit this summer, this is a wonderful time to wander the vineyard and watch the season unfold. Every week brings a new change, and there's something special about seeing the journey from vine to wine with your own eyes.

Join us this afternoon to unwind with a glass of wine, a tasting flight, or lunch on the patio overlooking the vines.

Happy Hour runs from 4–7 PM, and we're open a little later so you can settle in and watch the sun begin to set over the Valley. It's one of our favourite views of the week.
