There are some Winnipeg businesses that just feel familiar. Royal Pizza is one of them. 🍕

Established in 1975, The Original Royal Pizza has been serving Winnipeg with handmade pizza, original dough and signature sauce recipes for more than five decades.

We recently got to add our own small piece to the story by fabricating and installing these custom non-lit channel letters at their 1500 Dakota Street location.

The finished lettering has plenty of depth and character, while fitting naturally into the building's exterior.

And yes, photographing pizza for a sign project is definitely one of the better parts of the job.

Some of the most important parts of a sign are the ones nobody ever sees.

Take the small drainage holes underneath LED channel letters. They aren't exactly exciting to look at, but they serve an important purpose. If moisture gets inside a letter, those openings give it a path back out instead of allowing water to sit inside.

We included that detail when we fabricated and installed the illuminated channel letters for Ramallah Cafe at 1600 Kenaston Blvd #190.

The finished sign looks great after dark, but what we like about this project is that it represents a Winnipeg business with a story behind it. Ramallah Cafe began in 2015 with a goal of sharing Palestinian and Middle Eastern food and hospitality with the community.

From falafel and hummus to chicken shawarma, shish kabob and their sharing platters, there's plenty on the menu that makes this more than just another storefront.

We're happy to have played a small part in giving the cafe a sign that helps people find them.

You can tell a lot about a business from its sign.

For Pinseekers Golf Lounge Winnipeg, the illuminated channel letters and oversized golf logo at 1045 St James St say exactly what the place is about: golf, but with a relaxed lounge feel.

Pinseekers brings indoor golf, simulator technology, food, drinks and a social atmosphere together under one roof. Our job was to give the St. James location signage that matched that personality.

We fabricated and installed the LED-lit channel letters and custom logo signage, giving the entrance a strong presence both during the day and after dark.

A pretty good fit for a place where the goal is to tee up indoors.

Before guests enjoy the food, they notice the front of the building.

That's why thoughtful signage matters.

For Phở Hoang Restaurant, these LED-lit channel letters create a bright, welcoming entrance that reflects the fresh and modern dining experience waiting inside. From one family restaurant in 2011 to four Winnipeg locations, they've built a reputation around authentic flavours and making everyone feel welcome.

We're grateful to have played a small part by fabricating and installing signage that complements their brand.

A good sign doesn't just display a name. It helps people find you with confidence.

One question we hear often is, "What exactly is an illuminated channel letter?"

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has built its reputation on bold Cajun inspired flavour since 1972, and that same confidence carries into its storefront branding.

For this location, Electra Sign Ltd. fabricated and installed LED lit channel letters that provide excellent visibility after dark while complementing the building's modern design. The illuminated logo and vibrant orange lettering help create a welcoming first impression long before customers step inside.

Some signs become part of a community's daily routine.

Fort Garry Mennonite Fellowship Church has been serving Winnipeg for decades, growing from a small gathering in 1967 to a vibrant congregation on Bayridge Avenue. Their Electronic Message Centre helps communicate everything from Sunday worship and youth activities to community breakfasts and seasonal events.

Rather than relying on printed notices, the church can quickly update messages that reach both members and people simply driving by.

We're proud to have fabricated and installed this monument sign, which continues to support the church's connection with the surrounding neighbourhood.

Every great learning journey starts with finding the right place.

A while back, we had the opportunity to fabricate and install these custom non lit channel letters for the Kumon River Park Centre at 1500 Dakota St., Unit 8 in Winnipeg.

The dimensional letters give the centre a clean, professional presence that matches the Kumon brand and helps families easily recognize the location.

Under the leadership of Monika Bernatek, the River Park Centre has spent years helping students develop confidence, independence, and strong math and reading skills through individualized learning.

We're proud to have played a small part in helping a place dedicated to education make a lasting first impression.
