It is officially Second-Hand September! 🌱

This month, Filwood Green Business Park has decided to focus our attention on the little ways we can make our lives more sustainable (and make a big difference to the planet) by shopping second-hand. 🛍️

There are many reasons to shop second hand this September, for example, shopping pre-loved:

🗑️Reduces waste

♻️Supports a Circular Economy

💰Is good for the pockets as well as the planet

⛔️Reduces the need for new products and raw materials

Some ways you can shop more sustainably include:

🪑Listing and buying things on online second-hand platforms

👗Shopping at Charity Shops, Car Boot Sales, and Vintage Markets

🧣Giving your old belongings to friends and family

🧵Upcycling your current items

We also have the following re-cycling schemes at Filwood Green

📚Book Swap- - Tenants can bring in their unwanted books and take a new book to read instead of purchasing a brand new one. Who knows what you will discover! You can find this in The Hub by reception.

🖥️We also assist in recycling old office furniture from our tenants by letting other tenants know an item is available for collection, saving this from landfill and giving it many more years of use.

🏢 Small Meeting Room ✅ Seats up to 8 people 💷 Half day (8:00am to 12:30pm): £45 💷 Full day (8:00am to 4:00pm): £75
