🎇 Recent Works – Atplas | Atlantic Plastics, Bridgend 🎇

CBOF group recently completed a furniture specification & installation project for Atplas | Atlantic Plastics at their manufacturing and operational facility in Bridgend, creating a refreshed and more functional working environment for the team.

The project focused on improving the internal space, introducing a contemporary workplace feel while ensuring the environment remained practical and suited to the needs of a busy manufacturing business.

Careful consideration was given to the layout, finishes, furniture and overall look and feel to create a professional, comfortable and welcoming workplace.

Working closely with the Atlantic Plastics | Atplas team, the architect and main contractors, we managed the design and delivery of the furniture contract coordinating the various elements of the project from initial ideas through to completion.

The result is a modernised workplace that better supports day-to-day operations, provides improved facilities for staff and gives the Bridgend site a fresh new identity 👏

Scope of works:
➡️Product specification including new workstations, task seating and meeting room & collaboration area furniture
➡️Finishes consultation
➡️ Full logistical installation by our in-house team
➡️ Handover and client satisfaction review

Workplace Design & Client Consultant Jon Saunders managed the commercial element of the project with Operations & Project Delivery Director Jonathan Rossiter overseeing all aspects of the install and competition of the works.

✨ Women in Property – St. Fagans Site Visit ✨

Yesterday, our Workplace Design & Client Consultant, Sharon Clement, attended the Women in Property Wales event at St Fagans for a fascinating morning exploring the work taking place across the site.

The visit included an insightful presentation from Mike Lewis of KNOX & WELLS LIMITED, covering the history of St Fagans Castle, the glasshouses and vinery, as well as the ongoing restoration of both sites.

The morning finished with a tour of the areas, providing an opportunity to see the conservation and restoration works firsthand and learn more about the progress being made.

A great morning of learning, networking and gaining an insight into the important work helping to preserve these historic spaces for future generations 😊

🛠️Live Project | Careers Wales 🛠️

We’re pleased to be on site with Careers Wales at their Newport / Casnewydd offices, carrying out a range of small works to enhance the workspace for the client team.

Our in-house fitters are currently delivering:

➡️ Reconfiguration of existing furniture to enable the creation of two new consultation rooms using demountable partitioning
➡️ Air conditioning installation
➡️ Electrical, lighting, power & data works
➡️ Decoration
➡️ Supply & installation of new office furniture

With a 2-week programme, this is a great example of the responsive service delivered by our in-house team of designers, project managers and installers at CBOF group.

From design through to installation, our team can respond quickly to changing workplace requirements 👌

Celebrating Excellence at the Cardiff & Vale UHB Staff Recognition Awards 2026 🏆🏆🏆

Last Friday evening, Robert Rossiter, Jonathan Rossiter, Sharon Clement & Cathryn Campbell had the pleasure of once again attending the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, 'Estates & Facilities Staff Recognition Awards' at the Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.
It’s an event that CBOF group has been proud to support and attend for a number of years, and this year was no exception - recognising the exceptional commitment, passion & dedication of staff across the Health Board.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the hard work and achievements of so many people. We enjoyed some very personal and moving stories from the presenters & award recipients, alongside great food & drink, well-deserved awards, a choir and some fab entertainment along the way! 👏

A big thank you, as always, to Geoff Walsh, Jonathan Aver, Zoe Riden and the entire organising team for the kind invitation, and to Jason Mohammad for hosting the evening with his usual warmth and humour.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners – the contribution you make across Cardiff and the Vale really does make a difference every day. 👏👏👏

Early stages but the team is exploring how the brand’s identity, visual language, tone and overall look & feel can come together to create a distinctive yet personal space 👍

With the concept now beginning to take shape, the team is looking forward to refining the direction, exploring the details and bringing the vision to life.
