Less than two weeks to go until our final Dorset Business Angels Pitch Event of 2026!

Our September event generated 10 expressions of interest across the five presenting businesses, with each business receiving interest from investors following their presentations.

Now, we're looking forward to welcoming investors back to the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel on Monday 16th November for another evening of business pitches and investor conversations.

Five businesses will take to the stage, collectively seeking over £2.7 million in investment.

The evening begins with our popular Meet the Founders session, supported by Mark Walker from Barclays Eagle Labs, offering investors the opportunity to speak directly with the entrepreneurs before the presentations begin. Investors can then hear the pitches, learn more about each business and put their questions to the founders during Q&A.

The full line-up is in! Five businesses confirmed for our November Pitch Event.

Our final Dorset Business Angels Pitch Event of 2026 takes place on Monday 16th November, bringing together businesses spanning enterprise technology, manufacturing, waste-to-energy, uniform reuse and digital legacy planning.

The five businesses presenting are:

Each business will present directly to our investor audience, with the opportunity for questions and discussion following the pitches.

We're looking forward to our final Pitch Event of 2026!

On Monday 16 November, we'll be returning to the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel for another evening of business pitches, conversations and connections, followed by our Investors' Dinner.

With three pitches confirmed and two more to be announced, here's a preview of the businesses presenting:

🔹 AI-powered software helping manufacturers reduce equipment downtime.
🔹 Technology converting hard-to-recycle waste into useful heat and power.

We'll also be welcoming Ralph Singleton from our event sponsors, The FSE Group, who will deliver a presentation before the pitches begin.

Our Meet the Founders showcase will kick things off, giving attendees the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, learn about their businesses and enjoy informal conversations before the main presentations.

It’s pitch night, and we’d love to see you there.

This evening, the Dorset Business Angels Pitch Event returns to the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel.

Five very different businesses will be taking to the stage, with plenty to hear, explore and discuss with the founders themselves.

Our optional Meet the Founders session starts at 17:00, giving you the chance to meet the businesses ahead of the pitches, with the main Pitch Event starting at 17:55.

One week to go!

Five businesses, £3.7M being sought, and another great evening of pitches lined up for Monday, 14th September.

Following 40 applications, five businesses from a variety of sectors have been selected to take to the stage at our next Dorset Business Angels Pitch Event.

And while you can read about the businesses beforehand, there’s nothing quite like hearing directly from the founders, asking your own questions and getting a feel for both the people and the opportunity.

An update to our September pitch line-up...

Our original third pitching company has decided to return at a later date, when they plan to seek a higher level of funding. In their place, we’re delighted to welcome a new pitching business from the Performance Foods sector as our third pitch of the evening.

Making Nutrition Simpler and More Enjoyable | Raising £300K

A fast-growing confectionery brand designed to make nutrition simpler, more enjoyable and more accessible.

Offering an alternative to traditional powders, gels, drinks and pills, its functional product retails at just under £3. Launched in 2025, the business has already secured national distribution with major retailers across hundreds of locations.

They join four other businesses taking to the stage at our next Dorset Business Angels Pitch Event on 14th September at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel, with a combined £3.7M being sought across the evening.

Our last Dorset Business Angels Pitch Presentation Evening generated 22 expressions of interest across five presenting businesses.

With just two weeks to go until our next event on 14th September, we’re getting ready for another evening of pitches and investor conversations at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel.

Five businesses will take to the stage, collectively seeking £3.6M in investment.

As always, the evening is about more than the presentations. Investors will have the opportunity to Meet the Founders before the pitches, hear each investment opportunity presented live and put their questions directly to the entrepreneurs during Q&A.
