Keeping a room full of children aged 3 to 12 entertained is no small challenge… but that's all part of the fun! 😄🎩

Introducing the E-Gull! 🎈

So far, I've created a Trian-Gull, a C-Gull and now it's time to introduce my latest balloon creation… the E-Gull!

Not to be confused with an eagle, of course. The E-Gull is a much lesser-known species, rarely spotted in the wild! 😂

I know, I know… that joke might not exactly soar, but I thought it was worth winging it! 🪶🎈

Don't worry, my balloon creations are better than my bird jokes!

The question is… what balloon pun should I make next out of balloons? 🤔

⚔️ The Battle of Hastings… or should that be the Battle of Tastings? 🍯

This weekend I saw history come to life at Battle Abbey, with the spectacular Battle of Hastings re-enactment, overseen by English Heritage.

But while warriors were clashing swords on the battlefield, another contest caught my attention… The Battle of Tastings! 🍯🍷

Yes, a competition dedicated to MEAD! A tasty kind of historical battle! 😂

There was plenty more to discover too, including fascinating shows about the Bayeux Tapestry, a tapestry exhibition and even the chance to have a go at stitching some history yourself! 🪡

The kids weren't forgotten either, with loads of activities to keep them entertained, including their very own battle with (thankfully!) non-lethal weapons! 🛡️⚔️

All in all, a brilliant way to bring history to life, have some fun and discover more about the fascinating past of 1066 Country.

🏰 Who knew a history lesson could involve swords, sewing and mead?

🎃 Halloween is nearly here…

That magical time of year when everything balloony goes from cute to creepy! 👻🎈

Dogs become werewolves.
Cats become black cats.
Pumpkins acquire personalities.
And who knows what else might emerge from the balloon bag… 🕷️💀

I still have some Halloween availability for spooky balloon entertainment at family events, parties and public celebrations.

Yesterday I had a fantastic day exhibiting at the Wedding Fair at the Masonic Hall in St Leonards-on-Sea. 🎈💍

From the moment you walk up the red carpet and into this historic building, it feels like somewhere rather special. The recently upgraded main hall looks amazing and made a brilliant setting for a room full of wedding suppliers.

Couples also had the chance to head downstairs for a guided tour of the ceremonial lodge - a wonderfully distinctive space where wedding ceremonies can take place.

Back upstairs, the main hall was buzzing with suppliers chatting, sharing ideas and helping couples at all different stages of planning their big day.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by my stand for a chat, whether you’re just starting to put ideas together or already have most of the day planned. And I even had enquiries for birthday parties too!

And, of course, I may have mentioned that wedding entertainment doesn’t have to be just for the children… 😉🎈

Thanks to everyone involved in putting the fair together, and to all the couples who came along.

💍 Who says balloon entertainment at weddings is just for children?

Give the grown-ups a couple of drinks, introduce some ridiculous wearable balloon art, and suddenly EVERYONE wants a balloon! 🎈🥂😂

Honestly, adults can be some of my most enthusiastic customers — just look at the photo!

As a wedding entertainer in Hastings and East Sussex, I create balloon entertainment that gets adult guests laughing, interacting and taking photos together. Balloon hats and wearable creations are brilliant for breaking the ice between guests who may not know each other — and as the evening progresses, the requests can get increasingly creative!

Of course, I can entertain the children too, particularly during the wedding photographs or speeches, but wedding entertainment doesn't have to be just for the kids.

This Sunday I'll be exhibiting at the Wedding Fair at the Masonic Hall in St Leonards-on-Sea, so if you're planning a Hastings, St Leonards or East Sussex wedding, come and have a chat about entertainment for ALL your guests.

🐿️🎈 Introducing… the SQUARREL!

It's a squirrel. But Square!

I do love a good pun, especially when I can twist it into one of my balloon creations.

My latest creation is a little outside the box. Or possibly inside it. I'm not entirely sure how squirrel geometry works. 📐😂

Some people think outside the box. I prefer to make the box out of balloons and give it a bushy tail!

Just another day of taking balloon twisting and wordplay to ridiculous new dimensions.

Personally, I think it's NUTS! 🌰
