📣 **3rd Morecambe Scouts – Annual General Meeting**
Our **Annual General Meeting (AGM)** will be held on **Thursday 17th September**.
🕒 **Time to be announced**
The AGM is **open to the public**, and we’d love to welcome parents, supporters, members of the local community and anyone interested in helping 3rd Morecambe Scouts continue to grow.
🤝 **We’re also looking for new Trustees**
Our Trustee Board plays an important role behind the scenes, helping to make sure the Scout Group is well-run, financially sound and able to continue providing fantastic opportunities for young people in Morecambe.
In particular, we are currently looking for:
💷 **A new Treasurer** – to help oversee the Group’s finances and financial reporting.
👥 **Additional Trustees** – people who can bring their experience, ideas and enthusiasm to help support the future of the Group.
You **don’t need to have a Scouting background** to become a Trustee. We’d especially love to hear from people in the local community who may have experience in areas such as finance, business, fundraising, property, governance or administration – although enthusiasm and a willingness to help are just as important!
