Free beer for gingers! Great work from Scottish brewer Vault City Brewing for its specially created Fiery Ginger Iron Brew Sour Beer. Coverage all this morning on Sky Sports News - https://www.beerguild.co.uk/news/free-beer-for-gingers-as-scotland-returns-to-the-world-cup-after-28-years. I'd've definitely run a sampling campaign on all the Scottish flights to the USA though as departing flights have already run out of beer!

Reflecting on 2025, I've helped clients achieve some outstanding results. Highlights include over 700 individual pieces of coverage across national, regional, online and trade media (an average of 60 hits every month); one client saw a ROI of 50:1 for every £1 spent on PR; some exciting new clients gained, new relationships established and a healthy looking pipeline as we head into the new year. I tend to work when I’m away on my summer holidays mainly as I’m self employed. Just a few hours every day. The thing is, I seem to get some of my best results this way - in the past week I’ve scored six national hits (four in the last two days) and lots of regional/online news & business coverage for clients. I don’t know if this is down to a more streamlined approach to working, the change of environment, fewer distractions or maybe just because it’s so a little easier to land (in theory!)
Discussing this with my wife this morning, she’s now suggesting we come away for longer and/or more often! Do you work when you’re on your jollies or do you switch off completely?
