Microsoft is changing how it bills Copilot.

From 1 December, new Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licences bought through a partner will have pay-as-you-go billing switched on by default, so advanced features such as Copilot Cowork can add usage charges on top of the seat price.

The NCSC has published an alert today about a critical security issue in PHP, the code behind most business websites, including anything built on WordPress.

It could allow an attacker to take control of the server your website runs on. You can read the full alert here: Critical security issue affecting PHP (https://hubs.ly/Q04B_rQJ0)

We recommend speaking with your website developer or hosting provider and asking them to confirm the fix has been applied.

Updated: The NCSC is encouraging UK organisations to take immediate action to mitigate a security issue affecting PHP (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619).

Well done to the Better-IT Team for taking part in the Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge yesterday for Charity Link.
