🚑 First Aid at Work Training Delivered – GNG Group, Normanton 🚑

A great day delivering a Blended First Aid at Work training course for the team at GNG Group in Normanton.

This course combined online learning with practical, instructor-led training, giving delegates the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills needed to respond effectively in a workplace emergency.

Topics covered included:
✅ Primary survey and casualty assessment
✅ CPR and AED (defibrillator) use
✅ Managing an unconscious casualty
✅ Choking emergencies
✅ Bleeding and shock management
✅ Burns and scalds
✅ Fractures and other common workplace injuries
✅ Incident reporting and emergency procedures

🚓🎓 Insight into Public Services Training – Sheffield College Sixth Form 🎓🚓

It was a pleasure to deliver our "Insight into Public Services" training course for the enthusiastic Criminology students at The Sheffield College.

The session provided learners with a practical insight into the challenges, decision-making processes, and real-world scenarios faced by professionals working within the public services sector. Students had the opportunity to develop their understanding of key skills including communication, teamwork, professionalism, and critical decision-making.

The students were highly engaged throughout the day, asking excellent questions and demonstrating a genuine interest in careers within the police, emergency services, and wider public sector.

A fantastic couple of half-day sessions delivered at Wakefield College as part of the Insight into Public Uniformed Services programme.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of delivering a Physical Intervention Training course for learners working within the residential care sector in Liverpool.
