From Wednesday 27 May to Friday 29 May CSA Auctions conducted an online timed auction on behalf of the executors of J Steel Contracting.
The sale attracted exceptional interest from buyers across the UK and Ireland, demonstrating the wide appeal of the assets on offer.
Successful purchasers included buyers from Yorkshire, acquiring tractors, Aberdeen-based operators securing trailers, and foldable ladders finding new homes in Ireland.
The sales catalogue generated just over 20,000 views during the marketing period, with more than 6,000 bids placed across the 68 lots offered, creating strong competition and achieving excellent market engagement throughout the auction.
Leading the sale was a 2016 JCB Fastrac, showing just over 10,000 hours, achieving Β£40,000.
Closely following was a 2016 John Deere 6155R with 9,600 hours, achieving Β£38,600.
Strong prices continued throughout the auction, with a 2019 Stewart GX18-23 livestock trailer reaching Β£18,900.
These results demonstrate the strength of the online auction marketplace, with competitive bidding from a nationwide audience ensuring assets find their true market value.
