🤟 Lo sapevate che The Count of Tuscany, uno dei brani più iconici dei Dream Theater, nasce da un incontro avvenuto a Villa Calcinaia nel 2004?
John Petrucci e John Myung visitarono la tenuta insieme a Mark Snyder, amico della famiglia, tecnico della chitarra della band e fondatore di Angel’s Share Wines, società che da più di venti anni distribuisce i nostri vini nell’area del Tristate e in Florida.
Da quell’incontro nacque l’ispirazione per The Count of Tuscany, pubblicata nel 2009 come sesto e ultimo brano dell’album Black Clouds & Silver Linings.
In questi giorni, grazie a Guilherme Roza — grande appassionato della band e dei nostri vini — una bottiglia di Villa Calcinaia Chianti Classico Riservaha attraversato l’oceano fino al Brasile, arrivando direttamente nelle mani della band.
Dal Count of Tuscany… al Count of Rock. 🍷🎸
🤟 Did you know that The Count of Tuscany, one of the most iconic songs by Dream Theater, was born from an encounter that took place at Villa Calcinaia in 2004?
John Petrucci and John Myung visited the estate together with Mark Snyder, a family friend, the band’s guitar technician at the time, and founder of Angel’s Share Wines, the company that has been distributing our wines throughout the Tri-State area and Florida for more than twenty years.
That meeting later became the inspiration for The Count of Tuscany, released in 2009 as the sixth and final track on the album Black Clouds & Silver Linings.
In recent days, thanks to — a passionate fan of both the band and our wines — a bottle of Villa Calcinaia Chianti Classico Riserva crossed the ocean all the way to Brazil, ending up in the hands of the band themselves.
