We’re pleased to share some exciting news from our colleague Tina Palmer, client experience professional at Law At Work.
After more than 35 years working with people, businesses, students and community organisations across Jersey, Tina has announced that she is standing for Connétable of St Lawrence.
St Lawrence is a parish that means a great deal to Tina personally, she lives there with her family and has long been involved in supporting the Island’s skills, employment and community initiatives. Her commitment to helping people progress, strengthening organisations, and contributing to Island life has always been central to her work, and standing for Connétable feels like a natural extension of that contribution.
Tina has also made clear that, if elected, her focus would be firmly on the Parish and supporting parishioners. She would not be seeking a ministerial role, instead prioritising local leadership and community representation.
At Law At Work, we recognise how important parish leadership is to the life of our Island, and we are proud to support Tina in her decision to stand. She brings real energy, insight and commitment to everything she does, and we know she would make a meaningful contribution in this role (although she will be greatly missed by the team if successful!).
Between now and the election on 7 June, Tina will be reducing her hours slightly as she balances campaign commitments, but she will continue to be part of the LAW team during this period.
