Challenging day out in the battlefield for one of our teams.
Our team got stuck in and completed a five bedroom home from Titirangi to Ellerslie on 7 hours.

*Fit,strong,presentable, and arrives on time to work and leads by example.
*Need to be able to carry furniture and boxes and stow truck and unload.
*Clean drivers license and able to communicate with our clients able to lead a team and keep a cool head under pressure.
*We look after our Men and starting hourly rate ranges from $25-$30 per hour with Kiwisaver & holiday pay for the right candidate.

We are a Family business experiencing growth and it is time to expand our teams. We are looking for Experienced Drivers (Class 1 & 2) offsiders to join our furniture moving team based in West Auckland. We specialise in Residential and Commercial Moving in Auckland so experience is preferred but not essential, we are open to people with positive attitudes who are willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
We look after our staff and we will pay above the market rate to the successful applicants.

1. Pick a color code for each room and label that room’s boxes accordingly.
2. Label the door of each room with the corresponding sticker/tape so that movers know where to place the boxes.

Keep sandwich bags handy for holding any small parts of things you have to take apart, like curtain rods or mounted flat-screen TVs.

Tape the sandwich bags to the back of the item they correspond to.

ALSO: Use this method with the cords for your electronics.

Use plastic wrap to keep dressers drawers shut when the moving truck jostles them about, or for trays of items that would be just fine staying in the trays as long as they didn’t fall out. Plus, you can leave its contents in there, since the drawers no longer have a risk of sliding open!

Before you disconnect them to be boxed up, take a picture on your phone or camera of the cords on the back of your television and other electronics so that you can remember where they all go! This will save you a ton of time when you set it up again.
