Communicate Effectively: Regular 1:1 meetings and clear communication can enhance understanding and help manage workloads effectively.

Implement Clear Reporting Processes: Ensure there are straightforward procedures for reporting and managing complaints.

Update Policies: Regularly review your Anti-Harassment, Discrimination, and Bullying policies to ensure they are relevant to today’s digital landscape.

Educate Your Team: Provide training on recognising and addressing bullying and harassment, encouraging everyone to be active Upstanders in the workplace.

And last but not least, support Pink Shirt Day today and give Nikau a big thumbs up!

Wondering what to do with kids beads and old jewellery sets or any old jewellery??

Canbead (https://www.canbead.org) are a fabulous charity that use them for creative therapy sessions.

They happily accept any jewellery you no longer want. Jewellery they can't break down and reuse for beading workshops are sold as part of their fundraising efforts. They also accept donations of items or materials they need for their kitbags.

Join the CanInspire Board – Help Guide Our Healing Mission
CanInspire is seeking a passionate board member to help shape the future of our charity, which brings the healing power of beading workshops to New Zealanders experiencing illness, trauma, and loss.

Time Commitment
This is a volunteer position. The minimum commitment is approximately 4 hours every two months, covering board meetings, reading reports, and occasional email correspondence.

Board members are also encouraged (but not required) to gift additional time or skills where they are able. This can take many forms — current board members support local and national fundraising, workshop delivery, marketing, technology, and more. Every contribution helps strengthen our impact.
