"What does a Virtual Executive Assistant even do for a practice?"

Fair question. Here's the honest answer.

It's not just calendar management. It's the operational weight that keeps building while you're seeing patients, running a business, and trying to have a life outside of both.

βœ… Inbox and calendar handled before it becomes a backlog.

βœ… SOPs written down so nothing lives only in your head.

βœ… Vendor and admin follow-ups closed out, not left open.

βœ… Systems that actually run when you're not the one running them.

The goal isn't to hand off tasks. It's to hand off the mental load of remembering them.

What's the one recurring task you wish would just disappear off your plate?

Practice-Ready: The 5 Essentials Every New Medical Provider Needs Before Starting or Joining a Practice is live now.

This is the guide I wish every new provider had before they signed a contract, opened a practice, or joined one. It covers the exact groundwork that gets skipped when providers are focused on patient care and not the business side of things.

βœ… What to have in place before you say yes to a practice.
βœ… The credentialing steps that trip people up first.
βœ… The questions to ask before you sign anything.
βœ… The systems that save you months of backtracking later.

If you're a new provider, or you know one starting out this year, this is built for exactly that stage.

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you before you started your practice journey?

If your credentialing application has been "in progress" for weeks, this is for you.

It's rarely one big mistake that stalls a file. It's usually three small gaps, all happening at once, none of them anyone's fault:

βœ… The follow-up call that got pushed to "later today" and never happened.

βœ… The payer portal that needed an update nobody saw.

βœ… The CAQH profile that quietly expired while you were seeing patients.

None of this is because you're disorganized. It's because credentialing needs a dedicated eye, and your calendar is already full.

This is the exact gap we close for providers. One point of contact, tracking every file until it's actually approved, not just submitted.

So here's a question: how long has your longest-open application been sitting?

Drop the number in the comments. If you need more support with credentialing, DM CREDENTIALING lets help you!

New month, clean slate. πŸ‚

October always feels like the last real runway before Q4 chaos hits, so let's actually use it.

If your CAQH profile hasn't been touched since summer, if your inbox has quietly grown a mind of its own, or if you're still waiting on a payer response you sent weeks ago... this is the month to close those loops, not carry them into November.

βœ… Check your CAQH re-attestation date
βœ… Clear out anything still sitting in your inbox from September
βœ… Follow up on that one payer application you've been meaning to chase

None of it has to be a big project. It just has to actually get done.

What's the one thing from September you're bringing into October that really shouldn't still be on your list? Tell me below. πŸ‘‡

Right now, a new payer submission is realistically taking around 120 days to clear, not the 30 you might be picturing. πŸ“…

Open enrollment season might be backing up review queues at most major payers, before any of your paperwork even gets touched.

Submit today, and a realistic landing point is mid-to-late January.

Submit after Thanksgiving, and you're not finishing Q4, you're starting January still waiting.

The providers who end up credentialed before year-end aren't the ones who moved fast in December. They're the ones who submitted now, while there's still runway.

If you need to be in-network by January 1st, when did you submit, or when are you planning to? Tell me below. πŸ‘‡

Here's what's actually sitting in front of you by the end of week one, not a plan for one, the real thing. πŸ‘‡

Monday & Tuesday - I'm not touching anything yet. I'm going through your inbox and calendar exactly as they are, backlog included, so I know what's real before I start moving pieces.

By Wednesday - Filters and folders are live, so new messages already start sorting themselves.

By Thursday - Your calendar has an actual structure, buffers between meetings, no more back-to-back surprises.

By Friday - A working board with the three things that matter most, ranked, not a to-do list fifty items long.
..Also by Friday - One thing that was sitting untouched for weeks is already handled, so week one isn't just setup.

None of this is a pitch deck. It's what's open on my screen by the end of a real first week.

What's the one thing sitting on your plate right now that you'd want handled by day 5? Tell me below. πŸ‘‡

NEW BLOG POST ALERT! 🚨

You don't have a time problem. You have a task ownership problem.

When you're the one handling every email, client enquiry, follow-up, and administrative task in your business, it's not just your time that gets stretched. Your growth starts taking a back seat.

In this blog, we break down how holding on to every task can slow down your business and why having the right support can help you take back control of your time and focus on what matters most. πŸ’Ό

Here's what you'll learn:

βœ… How doing everything yourself can limit your business growth

βœ… Why task ownership matters more than simply managing your time

βœ… How delegating the right responsibilities can improve efficiency and help you focus on bigger priorities

Your business doesn't need more hours from you. It needs the right people taking ownership of the right tasks.

There's a 120-day clock running on your CAQH profile right now, whether you're thinking about it or not. ⏳

CAQH re-attestation is due every 120 days. Not roughly, not "whenever you get to it." Every 120 days, no exceptions for a busy season.

The reminder is a single email. If it lands in a spam filter, or gets buried under everything else in your inbox, there's no second nudge. It just quietly lapses.

And it doesn't just sit there quietly once it lapses. A missed attestation flags the profile as expired, which can pause pending applications and stall renewals that were otherwise moving fine.

It's one of the smallest, most avoidable things in credentialing, and one of the most common reasons providers end up stuck.

Do you know your next attestation date off the top of your head? Tell me below. πŸ‘‡

I'll be the first to tell you: yes, you can learn how to credential yourself.

But if you've been saying, β€œI'll get to it next week” for the last three months, we need to have a different conversation. πŸ˜… Your time has value, and there comes a point when doing everything yourself starts costing you more than delegating it. You don't have to prove that you can carry it all.

If you're ready to get credentialing off your plate, schedule a discovery call with HMV Solutions today.

There's a version of Monday where you open your laptop and actually know where things stand. That's not luck. That's just managed.

For most business owners, Monday starts already behind. Before the first meeting, before the first coffee, the backlog has already decided what today is about.

The inbox that decides your priorities before you've chosen them yourself.

The calendar that's technically full but was never actually planned.

The task you keep starting the week with instead of the one that would actually move things forward.

The quiet feeling of reacting all day instead of leading it.

That's not a time management problem. That's a "nobody owns this but you" problem.

And it costs more than a few hours. It's the version of you that never gets to start the week on your own terms.

What would Monday actually look like if you weren't starting it behind? Tell me below. πŸ‘‡
