Meet Blue. 🤎

He’s around 15 years old, which, for a Highland cow, means he’s got a little wisdom behind those beautiful eyes.

Photographing animals like Blue has been on my creative bucket list for years, and getting to bring this vision to life with Miles Smith Farm was truly a dream photoshoot experience.

This session was inspired by the incredible work of Randal Ford , one of my favorite animal photographers. His ability to capture the personality, beauty, and character of animals has always inspired me.

There’s something pretty magical about slowing down, getting creative, and photographing a subject who has absolutely no interest in following your creative direction.

Thanks to my creative partner on all our fun gigs, Tonio for always getting dope behind the scenes footage of me hunched over a camera.

Brand photos should give you more than a new profile picture. ✨

For Taylor of Taylor Mae Aesthetics, we wanted to create a collection of images that could actually grow with her business — showing her personality and the experience her clients can expect when they book with her.

That meant capturing a mix of polished portraits, personality, and details she can pull from for social media, her website, promotions, educational content and everything in between.

Because when you're building a personal brand, people aren't just choosing the service. They're choosing the person behind it. 🤍

If you're in the Holden area, go check out Taylor Mae Aesthetics, located inside my friend Miranda’s beautiful space, 1A Aesthetics!

And Taylor — SO fun getting you in front of my camera. 📸✨

The experience of having your portrait captured is often more personal than people realize. Investing in yourself through photography—and sharing who you are with the world—takes courage.

That’s why I strive to create a space where every client feels safe enough to open up, let their guard down, and step into the powerful version of themselves that’s been there all along.

When was the last time your LinkedIn profile truly reflected where you are in your career?

For many professionals, it's one of the most overlooked pieces of their personal brand. Yet it's often the first place a future patient, client, employer, or collaborator goes to learn more about you.

It was such a pleasure helping this talented and driven dentist update hers. Creating imagery that feels authentic, approachable, and aligned with the level of care she brings to her work is what personal branding is all about.

Team photos are about so much more than updating your headshots. They're an opportunity to showcase your culture, highlight the personalities behind your business, and create a visual story that quietly tells your clients, "We're in this together."

Whether you're helping families install the windows they've dreamed of or providing them with a sense of comfort and security, authentic team imagery builds trust before the first conversation ever happens. When a customer recognizes a familiar face arriving at their home, it creates an instant sense of connection.

And honestly? It's also a pretty great excuse to step away from the day-to-day, celebrate what you've built, and spend some time together outside the office.

There is something timeless about handcrafted jewelry.

A few final selects from our annual campaign with celebration of beautiful design, skilled hands, and the enduring value of things made with intention. Collaborating with businesses that dedicate themselves to quality and legacy is always an honor.

Beautifully brought to life by the lovely ✨

You created a business where people come first, and genuine human connection matters. So having images that reflect your investment, experience, and soul isn't just a nice addition—it's essential. Especially in a world that constantly tells us to move faster and automate more.

Working with Cait from Halo Head Spa in downtown Bangor has been such a pleasure. The experience she's built is about so much more than a service. It's about creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, and give something back to themselves.

That's why onsite brand photography matters. Images of you, in your space, doing the work you love, tell a story that stock photos and AI-generated content simply can't. They show your clients that you care enough to be present, to be real, and to invite them into the experience before they ever walk through the door.

Because at the end of the day, people don't connect with perfect.
They connect with people. 🤍✨

Time and time again, I have people sit down in front of my camera and immediately say:

“I’m awkward.”“I don’t know what to do with my hands.”“I’m not good at photos.”

And this happens all before the camera is even turned on.

What people don’t realize is that being “good in front of the camera” usually has very little to do with them and a lot to do with whether the photographer knows how to guide them.

That’s a huge part of what I do.

I’m watching the lighting, the angles, the posture, the energy, the tiny details… while also helping people loosen up enough to stop performing and just settle into themselves a bit more naturally.

The goal is never to make someone look overly posed or like a completely different person. I start with inspiration poses that feel empowering, and then we naturally flow from that pose. That’s why mood boards are a great visual tool on set.

It’s helping people feel comfortable enough that their actual personality starts coming through in the images.

That’s where the magic is.

Your brand photos should feel like you! Natural, confident, and actually aligned with who you are.

So grateful to for trusting me with her vision. She’s as brilliant as she is community-focused 🤍
