For the record, our lawyer did not sign a release for this video.

He did, however, explain the release in a four-paragraph email, considered it on the one hand, then on the other, and closed with something in Latin.

Every co-working space has one, now you know how to spot them...

Send this to the person who replies to “quick question?” with an essay.

Things we heard this week, with zero context:

A peacock water feature. A mystery bag of M&Ms. A desk that keeps a spot clear for Mike's lunch.

Spend enough afternoons around the same people and you end up with inside jokes. That's how you know it's working.

Which one needs the full story?

A day at Midway, one room at a time 👉

8 am: coffee first.
9 am: a desk in the open room, because people make you productive.
11 am: a client call in the phone booth.
1 pm: the team meets in the conference room.
3 pm: heads-down in a private office.

Come spend a day with us. Trial days are free. Link in bio.

Today we opened the third floor of Work-Collective NWX!

When Kent and Sara Odendahl opened in 2020, it was one floor and a bet that Bend needed a place where independent professionals and small teams could do serious work without working alone. Six years and two locations later, we're growing up instead of moving on.

The new floor adds private offices, dedicated desks and team spaces built for teams of 2 to 15, with mountain views and the same local ownership.

Tours are available now

A Work-Collective safety briefing: if you see Kent coming around the corner with a coffee, give him room.

The cup is full. It is always full. It will not stay full for long.

Tag the coworker who needs a lid more than anyone.

Ryan's favorite thing about Work-Collective? It's not his house.

At the desks, everyone is heads-down focused. In the break room, it's a different story. You need both, and home only gives you one of them.

"Good energy, good vibes, and good people."

Thanks Ryan!

Come find your own desk. Tours and trial days are free.

Blank walls never inspired anyone. That's why we partner with local artists like Mark Seekins to fill ours with work worth looking up from your laptop for.

Huge thank to everyone who came out, and thanks to Mark for letting us in on the process! If you missed the reception, the art is up at Midway. Stop by and take a look!

The annual co****le tournament is officially in the books. 🏆

Thursday night, coworkers turned into rivals, and a few of them discovered a competitive streak we'd never seen at the desks.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out!

Same time next year. Start practicing.

Somebody's paper airplane just outperformed most of our Monday meetings. 🤝

Six years ago this was one floor.

Kent and Sara signed the lease themselves, in a town that did not have many places like this yet.

Two locations later, we're building up instead of moving on

New private offices, dedicated desks, team spaces, and views looking straight at the Cascades.

Tours are already open. Who's calling the window seat before someone else does? 👇
