When you left the corporate job for more freedom, did you accidentally copy/paste that life? You didn’t mean to, but it might be all you know.

In today’s video, I’m talking about why being busy and being successful are not the same thing, and why you can choose what success looks like to you.

Watch the video and ask yourself if your business is supporting your new life, or consuming it.

One of the biggest mistakes business owners make is rushing into the next quarter without looking at the last one.

Before you set new goals, spend some time understanding:
What worked
What didn't
What surprised you
What you want to change

My Q2 Reflection Guide walks you through the process.

If your business is successful on paper and your day-to-day life is exhausting, it’s time to reassess.

The place to do it is the CEO Power Planning Workshop.

Over the years, this workshop has helped dozens of business owners identify their most important priorities, figure out what resources they need, and build a realistic plan to get it all done in the next 90 days, without losing their minds.

It’s a small group where you’ll connect with other entrepreneurs who face similar challenges. I’ll lead you through my process, and at the end, you’ll have a plan on paper you can use.

It doesn’t have to end there. A lot of my clients attend 4x a year. It’s the “me time” their business needs to stay on track.

Join us on June 18th for the next CEO Power Planning Workshop: https://zurl.co/gIgaY

A member missed CEO Hour recently because she had something personal going on.

Totally understandable.

She planned to do her weekly planning later in the week.

She didn't.

The following week she told us she could feel the difference.

Nothing major went wrong.

But her week didn't feel as smooth. Things took longer. She felt less organized.

I thought it was a great reminder that sometimes we don't realize how much a routine is helping us until we skip it.

That's true for a lot of things.

Including weekly planning.

It's also one of the reasons CEO Momentum exists. Having dedicated time each week to step back and think about your business makes a bigger difference than most people realize.

It’s June. We’re halfway through the year. Ask yourself…
❓How do you want the next six months to feel?
❓If everything stays the same, how do you feel by December?
❓What does running your own shop provide now (freedom, profit, flexibility, capacity), and what do you want more or less of?

You still have time to change how things are going this year, but first, you have to be honest about what’s working and what isn’t.

Comment HONESTY on this post to get my 2nd Quarter Reflection Guide right in your DM’s.

It’s a workbook that prompts you to think through the last quarter and identify what’s working and what might need a change.

We're almost halfway through the year.

Before you start thinking about Q3, take a few minutes to look at what actually happened in Q2.

What's working?
What's not?
What needs more attention?
What needs less?

That's exactly why I created my Q2 Reflection Guide.

Most business owners already know which part of their business isn’t working anymore.

They tolerate it because the business looks successful from the outside. Meaning it makes money.

But a business can be profitable and still not fit your life, energy, schedule, or priorities anymore.

In this week’s blog, I’m talking about what it looks like to reassess your business honestly, even when things are technically “working.”

Because you’re allowed to change your schedule or adjust your offers.

You get to define what success looks like for this season of your life.

Read the full blog and take a real pulse check before Q3 begins. https://zurl.co/UeLcw

If something in your business has been bothering you for months, “thinking about it” isn’t going to help. You’re too close to it. That’s why it’s hard to make a decision.

You need a Laser Consult Session.

90 minutes of focused conversation to identify the real issue and figure out the smartest next step.

This session is solution-oriented, one-on-one support for business owners who are ready for a solution.

One of my favorite parts of CEO Hour is when we go around and share wins.

Sometimes someone has a huge win and that's exciting.

But honestly, I think I like the small wins even more.

The proposal that finally got sent.
The networking follow-up.
The difficult conversation.
The thing that sat on the to-do list for three weeks and finally got done.

When you work for yourself, there usually isn't anyone standing there saying, "Nice job."

That's one of the reasons I love seeing members celebrate each other.

The big wins are fun.

But the little wins are often the ones that get you there.

You’re allowed to change your mind. In today’s video, I’m talking about what happens when you outgrow part of your business and why more business owners need permission to adjust before burnout decides for them.

Watch the video and ask yourself if your business still fits the life you want right now.
