Our team recently spent the day volunteering with The Food Project, helping out on their farms and learning more about the work they do to bring fresh, affordable food to local communities.​

It was a great chance to step outside our day-to-day, connect with each other, and support an organization that’s making a real difference in food access and sustainability.​

One year down! It’s been a full year since Sean Finnerty stepped into the role of CEO at BlueWave and what a year it’s been.​

In Sean's first year, we have completed or commenced construction on 16 projects and have many more under development.​

We’ve grown, strengthened partnerships, and continued expanding access to clean energy in the communities we serve. None of it happens without an incredible team behind it and a shared commitment to the work.​

Grateful for the leadership, proud of the progress, and excited for what’s ahead.​

We had a great time sponsoring the Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE Boston)’s 2026 Spring Fling and celebrating such a strong community of leaders across the clean energy space.​

A highlight of the evening was hearing from our Chief Development Officer, Patty DiOrio, who shared thoughtful perspectives on the evolving energy landscape and the opportunities ahead for our industry.​

Happy National Farm Animals Day! 🐑​

Today we’re celebrating the animals that play an important role in agriculture and the creative ways clean energy and farming can work together.​

Through agrivoltaics, sheep, cattle, and other livestock can graze on solar sites while helping naturally manage vegetation. It’s a simple idea that supports local farmers, keeps land in active agricultural use, and produces clean energy at the same time.​

It’s just one example of how solar projects can support both our energy future and the agricultural communities that help power it.​
