What does a typical day look like for a network engineer at Automated Results?
It starts before most people sit down for their first coffee — checking monitoring dashboards, reviewing overnight alerts, and making sure that the industrial facilities we support across the Americas woke up without incident.
The work spans Cisco infrastructure design and configuration, network security assessments, VPN management for remote access to OT environments, and the careful, methodical work of connecting legacy systems to modern networks without introducing new risk.
It's detail-oriented, complex, and critical — because in industrial environments, network issues don't just inconvenience users. They can stop production lines.
We're proud of the team that shows up every day to do this work with precision and care.
