+ Is the positioning relevant?
+ Is the positioning different?
+ Is the positioning statement complete?
+ Is the positioning statement single-minded?
+ Is the language precise?

When launching new products and services, it seems a lot of brands do user research to understand customer needs. But not as many conduct pricing research.
