Most people are pretty good about cleaning the lint screen in their dryer. But the lint screen is only one part of the system.

Air still has to travel from the dryer, through the exhaust duct, and all the way outside your home. Over time, lint and other restrictions can interfere with that airflow.

A few good dryer-maintenance habits:
-Clean the lint screen with every load
-Pay attention when normal loads suddenly take longer to dry
-Make sure the exterior vent can open properly
-Keep the area around the dryer clear
-Do not forget about the vent path itself

We recently cleaned this white couch in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the finished result came out incredibly clean and consistent from one section to the next.

Sometimes the scariest thing that happens to a floor isn't the original mess. It's what happens while trying to fix it.

A few examples:
Scrubbing a carpet spot aggressively instead of blotting it.
Using too much moisture on laminate flooring and allowing liquid to work into the seams.
Dragging furniture across hard flooring instead of lifting it or using protection.
Continuing to add cleaner when the first application doesn't work, which can leave more residue behind.
The lesson isn't that you should be afraid to clean your own floors. It's that every surface reacts differently.

This is why we love a good before and after!

High-traffic areas can make carpet look worn and discolored over time, even when the carpet itself still has plenty of life left. In this case, you can clearly see the difference a professional carpet cleaning made.

The built-up soil and visible traffic patterns were significantly reduced, leaving the carpet looking cleaner, brighter, and more consistent throughout the area.
