We’re excited to announce the recent promotions of Eric Jipp, David Tackman, and Eric Murphy!
Eric Jipp has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of our Advanced Components group. In his new role, Eric will be responsible for supporting and implementing UFP’s strategy across the Advanced Components markets. He will also be responsible for operations for the Michigan and Florida facilities. Eric is a trusted leader and a great communicator. His technical, operational, and commercial success is well-suited to enable growth across Advanced Components.
David Tackman has been promoted to Vice President, Operations. Since joining UFP in 2014, David has played a pivotal role in shaping the business strategy across our western US plants in Colorado, Texas, and California. David has played a key role in successfully launching programs with new MedTech customers. His leadership and skills will continue to advance our operations and organization across our three western plants.
Eric Murphy has been promoted to Vice President and Corporate Controller of UFP Technologies. His technical aptitude with ever-changing accounting regulations has guided UFP to consistently comply with SEC regulations. He has integrated numerous acquisition targets into our financial reporting system, navigated foreign regulations, and led the ERP implementations. As Vice President and Corporate Controller, Eric will be responsible for the company’s ongoing compliance with SEC regulations.

Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Scott has held numerous roles throughout his tenure, including Pattern Maker, Die Maker, Estimator, and Maintenance. His diverse talents and dedication contribute to our daily pursuit of excellence.

As an Account Manager, Dave's extensive experience in both Customer Service and Sales has equipped him with an unparalleled understanding of our business and customers.
