Still working my regular job while building something of my own on the side.

That’s the part people don’t always see. You don’t need to quit your job, have everything figured out, or wait for the “perfect time.” You can start with the time you have and learn one step at a time.

Some days I work on my business before my shift, during a break, or when I get home. It may not always look glamorous, but consistency is what moves things forward.

Nobody warned me that one of the hardest parts of coming back from a cruise would be going from fancy drinks with bubbles, smoke and a whole presentation… back to drinking regular stuff from my blender cup at work. 😂

On the ship, every drink felt like a special event. Now I’m sitting in the break room blowing on my drink, trying to recreate the same experience. Same technique… completely different level. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

And this is one of the reasons I’m building an online business alongside my nursing career. Not because I hate what I do or plan to quit—but because I want more control over my time and more opportunities to enjoy life beyond my work schedule.

Because honestly, I could use a little more cruise life and a little less “back to reality.” 😂

Staying comfortable sounds good… until you realize comfortable can also keep you stuck.

I’m still a nurse, still working my shifts, and still showing up. But I also knew I needed to start building something beyond the schedule, the overtime, and waiting for my next day off.

I didn’t have everything figured out when I started. I just knew that doing nothing would keep giving me the same results.

Sometimes the first step isn’t quitting your job or making some crazy move. Sometimes it’s simply being willing to learn something new.

If you want to ride into the sunset, apparently you don’t need a horse. You just need an e-scooter, some cooler weather, and a wife you’re fully prepared to leave in the dust. 😂🛴

After being inside all day, this little evening ride hit different. No schedule, no rushing—just fresh air, a good view, and me acting like I had somewhere important to be.

This is part of why I’m building my digital business. I don’t need some fantasy life where I never work again. I just want more freedom to enjoy simple moments like this without life always feeling like one long shift.

I may not be riding into retirement just yet…but I’m definitely heading in the right direction. 🌅
