Happy birthday Brad!
A lot of people that we meet in the tasting room tell us they can’t imagine working with and doing so much life with their siblings. We just laugh because we can’t imagine doing it with anybody else.

In the day to day, it is easy to forget how fortunate we are to have a brother and a business partner that you can depend on not only for work but advice and guidance on just about anything in life, from finances to faith to friendship and family.
Well, maybe not everything. Unless it’s barbecuing ribs or thinking you know when to pull a steak off the grill better than me, you’re no help when it comes to food.

Happy Birthday Greg. We are asked often if it can be difficult working with family. Each time we answer, there seems to be a little let down that we don’t have the blow up stories or a a long list of complaints to gripe about. We sorta shrug and mumble something about we know how to push each others buttons and do frequently, but don’t cross lines. But the real answer is a simple no, it’s not difficult. We could not imagine it any other way. Waylan almost certainly does not exist without the two of us (and of course zach). We consider it a privilege to be able to do this together. There is certainly nobody I would rather do it with. Happy birthday Goyo

We have had a pair of brass dice on the shelf at the tasting room since day one. Most guests hardly notice them, we don’t go a single day without seeing them. They are there for us as a reminder to be bold and take a risks. They are not an encouragement to be reckless, they are a reminder that being in business, especially the wine business, requires risk and confidence that things will work out. And frankly it can be scary at times. But when we see these dice, and looks back over past risks that have worked out. It gives us the confidence to throw them again.

Happy birthday Zach! You’re the face of the franchise and an absolute privilege to work with. We couldn’t imagine doing it without you. Watching someone do something they genuinely enjoy, are good at and have dedicated their careers to, has been one of the true highlights in our companies history. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 10 years since you called us asking to work a harvest while you figured things out. We are beyond fortunate that figuring things out in your life included being a major part of our little winery. Happy birthday bru.
