Numbers matter but follower numbers never did and now… they really don’t. Do we like when all numbers go up? Of course. But focus on the numbers that actually matter.

Why anyone would have ever thought buying fake followers was a good idea we will never understand.

We once brought on a new client who had nearly 100,000 followers on Facebook. But no one was interacting with the content. The client finally admitted he paid for these followers who were fake accounts. There was nothing we could do. We shut down the page and started over. This would be incredibly hard to rebuild today. So stop focusing on the wrong number and get your head in the game on the right ones.

In between editing content, writing content, dealing with invoices and having client calls, the job of a working mom is never done. We are a full-on UPS Store in this laundry room as we pack up the former intern to move her to the Big Apple. The truck comes today and off this stuff goes!

For a social media company owner, I'm actually kind of slow to move to new technology. You'd think I'd be an early adopter, but I really like to wait and hear from others about their experience before digging in. I guess I just don't want to spend a lot of time on something only to have it not stay for the long-haul.

So I got on the Chat GPT train a while ago, but maybe I was a little hesitant going in. Now Chat has become my go-to for figuring out processes, helping me with re-writes and shorten the time it takes from watching a client's longform video to crafting an SEO-focused description of it for YouTube.

For months now I've been hearing "Claude is better," "Claude does so much more." I was like, "Uch. I just got used to Chat.. how much better could it be?"

Well. I have a process/workflow I'm working through and trying to make it more efficient for our company. Chat just wasn't getting it. I logged on to Claude.

Problem solved.

I mean... I don't think you can understand the difference until you're in it. This is my review. I give it five stars!

Kristie Crenshaw and I have known each other for probably two decades... from way back in the Greater Louisville Outstanding Women (GLOW) days. She is one powerhouse of a person and she has launched The Audacity to Age, a newsletter and podcast, and she asked me to join her! The first snippet is here - the podcast version is coming soon.

In it, we discuss what's hard about each decade from the 20s until now. I get very real about how I felt about motherhood as a young mom. And at some point I get to list six people I'd like to have at a dinner party. I wonder if you can guess who's on the list.
