BBB is the authority on trust in the marketplace and the best resource for unbiased information on businesses and charities.

About the Better Business Bureau serving Greater Kentucky and South Central Indiana:

Seeking a more honest marketplace, this BBB opened its doors in Louisville, KY in 1916. After 100 years BBB is still working towards an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. We do this by offering what no other organization does - a seal of approval that is earned only by businesses that are already upholding the highest of standards. BBB sees trust as a function of two primary factors – integrity and performance. Integrity includes respect, ethics, and intent. Performance speaks to a business’s track record of delivering results. BBB encourages and supports best practices by engaging with consumers and businesses. You can contact us anytime at bbb.org/louisville or email us at [email protected]. Assistance at our office is available by appointment only. BBB helps consumers avoid fraud every single day by educating consumers and businesses on scams affecting them. Report scams through the BBB Scam Tracker at bbb.org/scamtracker/louisville/ReportScam or by emailing us at [email protected]

BBB does not compare or recommend any businesses against another, and consumers rely on BBB's unbiased information to help them find trustworthy businesses and charities at bbb.org/louisvilleaccredited-business-directory/

BBB celebrates role models in the market with the Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics, awarded annually by an independent panel of judges. You can read more about the Torch Awards and nominate the businesses and non-profits that you trust at bbb.org/louisville/bbb-torch-awards/

BBB works hard to call out and address substandard marketplace behavior. We do this through our complaint process, our customer reviews, reports from consumers and other businesses, press releases, and informational events. You can read more about it at bbb.org/louisville/get-to-know-us/about-us/
