After a 20+ year corporate career, I discovered a gap in the market for a product that I wanted to purchase but could not find so I began the incredible process of creating it from scratch. After endless research, forming an LLC, prototyping, focus groups, hiring contractors, firing contractors, retaining attorneys, gallons of coffee, making missteps galore, choosing wisely, blood, sweat and tears: RestoPresto® was launched to the market via an overfunded Kickstarter campaign. RP subsequently was granted a patent, received fantastic press (i.e. TODAY Show, Frommer’s, Yahoo! Finance & Good Day Dallas) and successfully sold out of all inventory. While RP is in new strategy mode, I pivoted to supply the demand for a trustworthy advisor to help others do what I did (but faster and smarter): launch and develop their own business ideas, at any stage, across industries…and PRESTO: my consulting biz was born! My current focus is working with people who want to monetize a hobby, turn a concept into an actual product and run a successful Kickstarter campaign.
