Tip of the Day: Nothing should go down toilets or drains other than toilet paper, human waste, and conservative garbage disposal waste. Any other products can clog the tank or motor if it is a pumped or aerated system. Faminine hygiene products should also not be flushed.

In order to maintain a healthy septic system, liquid laundry detergent is recommended over powder, since it dissolves more easily 🧺

If there is an odor originating from a floor drain, check that there is a plug in the side hole of the drain and not in the bottom, and add some water to fill the trap. Traps can become dry during the winter months, so fill it periodically. If the odor persists, call us! 913-980-6886
