Thinking estrogen to progesterone balance is simply 10/1 is the STUPIDITY coming out of medical school in 2026. EVERY woman with high SHBG will respond different. Every woman with bodyfat below 21% will respond differently. Women with methylations issues, athletes, overweight and morbidly obese women ALL RESPOND DIFFERENT! So thinking it’s 10/1 is insane, not accurate and NOT provable. It’s a way for clinicians to not think and just write prescriptions.

You cannot outrun high bodyfat with progesterone. There IS NO ratio between level and dosing of estrogen!! Yes if you have a uterus you need progesterone! But don’t let some quack who’s trying to sell you a bazillion urine and spit tests and gut maps and supplements convince you that the higher your estrogen goes, the more progesterone you need. That is not how it works! Your body fat percentage in comparison to your muscle mass is driving your metabolic health, and your excess body fat is the biggest enemy to unopposed estrogen! Your need for progesterone has everything to do with your metabolic health. THERE IS NO RATIO of E to P.
