Yesterday, we officially announced Pen to Paper Italy 2027, and we’re already looking forward to what this retreat will become.

We’ll be gathering at Locanda della Quercia Calante, near Orvieto in the Umbrian countryside, for a writing experience built around time to write, meaningful connection, reflection, and the kind of setting that makes you want to stay awhile.

Kelli and Greg are excited to finally share the destination for the 2027 International Pen to Paper Writer’s Retreat.

We’re headed to Locanda della Quercia Calante, a beautiful country retreat near Orvieto in the Umbrian countryside of Italy.

After three Pen to Paper retreats, we wanted the 2027 experience to be somewhere our writers could step away from their daily routines, focus on their writing, connect with fellow authors, and experience a place they will remember for years.

One of the greatest gifts of being a publisher is helping someone share a story they once weren’t sure they could tell.

Sometimes the obstacle is practical: “I have no idea how to write a book.”
