🚴 I had planned to ride 14 miles.....A couple of weekends ago, Sam and I rode one morning along the A1A bike trail toward Marineland. Sam can easily ride longer distances, so I set a goal of riding 14 miles. I was feeling so good that I stretched it to 16 miles! We finished the day with a relaxing lunch and enjoyed every minute of it. 😊

As much as I enjoy the ride itself, I've come to realize that recovery is just as important.

When we're younger, we often bounce back quickly. As we get older, our bodies may need a little more time—and a little more support—to recover from the activities we love.

That's actually what inspired me to write my latest blog. While I use pickleball as the example, the message applies to all of us. Whether you enjoy biking, gardening, golf, walking, or simply spending an active day with family, healthy recovery helps us keep doing the things we love.

One of the tools I use personally to support my recovery is BEMER. Along with staying hydrated, stretching, and listening to my body, it's become part of my wellness routine so I can continue enjoying an active lifestyle.
