Love these peaceful Saturday mornings during harvest.

Following a very pleasant exhale after completing our whites in August, we just had — by our micro-standards — an absolutely massive week bringing in reds. Merlot, Carménère, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc are all in. The summer was a cool one, so the potential for diverse, layered flavors and freshness is high, and August was kind from the perspective of ripening tannins. Very excited about what we have in so far. More to come soon…

As winter recedes, our cover crops breathe new life into our vineyard. These vibrant plants aren’t just beautiful — they’re essential. They nourish and aerate the soils, helping to give back the energy that was removed at harvest. Last fall we planted an organic blend of beans, peas, vetch & cereals. (Some great stuff for salads!) You'll also see some volunteer mustard in the mix. Sustainable viticulture in action, rooted in respect for the land.
