Budbreak has begun, marking the start of a new growing season. After months of quiet in the vineyard, it’s always exciting to see the first signs of life return to the vines, with each tiny bud holding the promise of the vintage ahead.

Did you know those tin capsules on wine bottles can be recycled? ♻️
At Schweiger Vineyards, we’ve partnered with the Teacher Resource Center of the North Bay (TRCNB) to give them a second life. Instead of ending up in landfills, these capsules are collected, recycled, and turned into funding for school supplies for teachers across Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties.
Twice a year, local educators can “shop” for the materials they need—helping ease the cost of stocking their classrooms and supporting students in our community.
It’s a small action with a meaningful impact. Save your capsules and bring them with you the next time you visit us! 🍷

Meet the newest vintage of our Cabernet Sauvignon 🍷 Grown high on Spring Mountain, the 2021 vintage reflects a naturally low-yield season and even growing conditions, delivering concentrated flavors, bright acidity, and refined, polished tannins. Aromas of blackberry, ripe cherry, and plum are lifted by subtle spice, while the palate is silky, focused, and energetic with a long, elegant finish.
Approachable now and built to age beautifully, this vintage is a true expression of the mountain and a standout of the vintage at Schweiger Vineyards.
