Generosity is easy to affirm. Leading it well is harder than it looks.

We're grateful for our strategic alliance with Generous Giving.

Their work helps leaders think more seriously about generosity as a dimension of stewardship, present in how the business operates, not held in reserve for what success eventually makes possible.

Learn more about Generous Giving here:

As we catch God's vision for giving, we experience the life that is truly life. We make it easy to explore biblical generosity in a small group retreat called a Journey of Generosity (JOG).

This month’s case study is a strong reminder that care does not become part of a culture by accident.

It grows through small acts of obedience, intentional structure, clear ownership, and repeated follow-through.

That is how care moves from good intention to visible stewardship.

Where in your business does care need more structure to become sustainable?

Ten years ago, Mike Sharrow became the third CEO of C12. The path he took there is unusual and worth knowing.

He started as a C12 Member in 2010, sitting around a forum table as a CEO, carrying his own weight.

A year later, he became a Chair, serving other CEOs through the same forum experience that had shaped him.

By 2013, he was building the Central Texas market. In 2016, he took on the responsibility of leading the whole organization.

Member. Chair. CEO. Three vantage points on the same community, walked by the same person.

Under Mike's leadership, C12 has grown into the world's largest peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs — now serving more than 4,900 Members across nine countries through the work of 250+ Chairs.

But the part of Mike's story that matters most to those who know him is not the scale. It is the consistency.

Thank you, Mike, for ten years of faithful leadership.

Five years is long enough for a forum to become a family. Long enough for a Chair to know which decision keeps a CEO up at night, and why.

Long enough for the kind of trust that only shows up after the third or fourth hard season together.

At Spring Vision this year, we honored the C12 Chairs who have served for five years.

Every Chair being honored has spent that time doing the work that doesn't always make headlines but always makes a difference.

The impact of these Chairs will be felt in the CEOs they serve, the businesses those CEOs lead, and the communities those businesses touch, for years to come.

Honoring five years of faithful service:
Jim Morgan
Kirt Boudreau
Danielle Whah
Keith Bower
Scott Van Ness
Todd Dekruyter

Every year, C12 names one Chair across our global network as Chair of the Year.

The criteria are demanding: how well the market is stewarded, the strength of the forums built, the quality of the Member experience, and the depth at which Business as a Ministry principles are implemented.

The 2026 Scott Hitchcock Chair of the Year is Shawn Yates.

Shawn was named the most exceptional among 240+ Chairs across nine countries. The leaders he serves are the better for it, and the standard he sets raises the bar for the rest of us.

Congratulations, Shawn! Thank you for serving so faithfully.

You can feel it when you walk into the right room.
Spring Vision is that kind of room.

This is where Chairs sharpen Chairs. Where conviction is strengthened, and perspective is regained.

Today, 250+ Chairs walk alongside more than 4,800 business leaders, helping them build great businesses for a greater purpose.

That kind of impact doesn't happen by accident. It's built by leaders who choose to show up, invest in others, and lead with intention.

It is an honor to be on mission together, bringing the Gospel to the marketplace.

Rapid growth can look strong from the outside.

But leadership is often tested by what growth begins to distort underneath the surface.

In this case study, we share a pivotal season in C12’s journey when the pace had become unsustainable and expectations had started to shift. What emerged was not just an operational challenge, but a leadership moment that required honest reassessment, renewed alignment, and a healthier path forward.

This conversation is a strong reminder that healthy growth requires more than momentum. It requires leaders who are willing to slow down long enough to examine what the pace is producing in themselves, their teams, and the culture that follows.

Tomorrow’s conversation with Jordan Raynor is worth making space for.

Not because leaders need another webinar on time management, but because distraction has become a deeper executive issue than many leaders want to admit.

If time is one of the scarcest leadership resources in this season, it deserves more than reactive management. It deserves disciplined thought.

If this tension feels familiar, join us tomorrow.

We are just a few days away from Redeeming Time in a Distracted World with Jordan Raynor.

The way a CEO spends their day shapes culture, signals priorities, and determines whether the organization operates from clarity or reaction.

This webinar will equip leaders with four key principles to move beyond productivity tactics and help allocate their time with what matters most.

As a business grows, leaders often feel pulled into activities that appear essential but fail to create long-term value.

This month, C12 members are learning how to utilize the Five Tasks of Leadership: Direction, Speed, Risk, Resources, and Culture.

These define the space in which all other decisions are made. When these parameters are clear, teams move with confidence.

When they are blurred, teams compensate by becoming busier and eventually burning out.
