They’re much more comfortable behind the scenes - working hard, solving problems, supporting their teams, and doing whatever it takes to serve the people and communities who count on them.

For nearly 40 years, our founders Carol Sapp and KIM FREMONT MSED, RD, LD have poured countless hours, late nights, evenings, and weekends into this industry. Their dedication to their teams, their clients, and most importantly, the residents they serve has helped shape DiningRD into what it is today.

And sometimes, the stars align. ✨

All these years later, Carol and Kim are together in Missouri - where the DiningRD story began - representing the company and mission they’ve spent their careers building.

A pretty special full-circle moment for two people who would probably rather be behind the scenes than in this post. 😊

Hosted by the Kentucky Coalition for Aging Resources and Empowerment (KCARE) in partnership with Gordon Food Service and Incite Strategic Partners, LLC, the competition showcased the creativity, skill, and passion of long-term care culinary teams across Kentucky.

Our story began more than 30 years ago with an early hospital menu program - simple by today’s standards, but innovative for its time. Even then, our founders saw something bigger: the potential for technology to make the work of dietitians and dining teams easier and better.
