I didn’t choose entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship chose me. A Hint of Jazz was once a multimedia edutainment platform. The 5 C’s is the evolved version of that.
I wanted to go the traditional route—start off entry level then work my way up. Those opportunities never panned out for me. I created opportunities through networking, meeting the right people, helping out with small projects. Becoming a freelancer, contractor, and now small business owner. For every no, I went and created a yes.
Connections through commerce is one of my faves because you get to learn from someone’s entrepreneurial journey. Hearing their story and seeing what exists after is motivating and inspiring. If you can do it, I can do it! If I can do it, you can do it!
It takes a special strength to create and maintain a business. So keep going! The difference between you and the person who gave up, is they gave up—so you don’t!
