“I have been doing this for almost 50 years, and have been privileged to taste some pretty legendary Chardonnay — but this becomes the new standard bearer for domestic Chardonnay. Explosive tropical notes of passionfruit and guava, the singing acidity of Meyer lemons and Key Limes, with the richness of ripe honeydew melon and pineapple… a finish which seems endless. Only a tad over 100 cases were produced, and the word is now out — grab some while you can. This is world class winemaking in spades.”
