Our family have been on this land for over 160 years but there are many living monuments here that way outlive our five generations. These magnificent eucalypts stand for hundreds of years as a reminder that, like the Wurundjeri people before us, we are all just custodians passing through and we do so with respect for past, present and future.
It’s an absolute joy to see them every day.

Winter is the time for a little help from our wooly friends. The vine rows and headlands are kept tidy and then fertilised and a well nourished flock is the added benefit.
A time of golden light and valley mist.

It’s a little quieter here now. All of the 2026 wines are now tucked up in barrel, the winery is scrubbed clean and there’s a chance to take a breath. Except for the pruning, and the livestock, and the paperwork and everything else. Glorious days like today make it easier. This is the view to the stables and the press room from our new south facing Quarry Hill vineyard, planted to Abel and MV6 Pinot Noir clones and performing brilliantly.

Every vintage our cattle receive the ultimate treat…grape skins fresh from the press, full of flavour and conveniently delivered to the paddock. It’s perfect recycling. And in this case, with Cabernet Franc skins, a pretty good food match.

More pics in praise of our Cabernet vines and fruit…it’s such a pleasure to grow and make wine from. Thick skinned berries on loose bunches keeps disease at bay and a late season like this one is no obstacle with these warm, sunny days. The fruit can hang and wait for just the right moment to pick. The 2026 Yeringberg will be something quite special.

A stunning morning and the second last pick for Vintage 2026. The Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon is totally in the zone after an amazing week of perfect ripening weather.
