šŸ”„ PACE ON FIRE — AUGUST 2026 šŸ”„

Momentum isn’t something you wait for. You create it.

August has been about focus, growth and opportunity at PACE Architects — strengthening existing relationships, welcoming new talent and pushing major projects towards completion.

šŸ”„ GROWING THE TEAM
This month we welcomed Luz, joining PACE as a Graduate Architect, and Rit, joining us through our UNSW Internship Program.
We celebrated with an afternoon BBQ in the Sydney winter sun — and Luz’s homemade brownies certainly didn’t last long! šŸ˜‚
Great businesses are built by great people, and we’re proud to keep investing in the next generation of our team.

šŸ—ļø FROM DRAWING BOARD TO BUILT FORM
August also saw several significant projects moving towards completion.
Our Hale Capital multi-level industrial developments at Camellia and Punchbowl are approaching their final stages — delivered ahead of programme and on budget.
Another highlight was returning to the completed BlueScope Steel MCL7 Paint Line facility at Erskine Park, now fully operational.
PACE has been involved throughout the journey — from design and approvals through documentation, coordination, construction and completed built form.

September brings new projects, new relationships and new opportunities — and we’re ready for them.
If you’re acquiring a site, developing an industrial or logistics facility, expanding your operations or exploring what’s possible, let’s start a conversation.
Thank you to our clients, consultants, builders and construction partners for continuing to trust PACE with your projects.
The next opportunity is always built on what you do today.
šŸ”„ September — let’s go.
You bring the project.
We’ll bring the PACE.
And we’ll bring the fire. šŸ”„

A new financial year... a fresh opportunity to build something extraordinary.

Last week we had our monthly ā€œPACE ON FIREā€ BBQ lunch - reclaiming the streets of Crows Nest. July has been all about reconnecting, celebrating our team and continuing to help our clients turn great ideas into successful projects.

One of the highlights this month has been welcoming Will back into the office for a few weeks. While Will normally works remotely from Japan, it’s been fantastic having him in Sydney, collaborating with the team, sharing ideas and enjoying a few laughs around the office.

We also celebrated Kelly’s birthday, and naturally, no PACE celebration is complete without a delicious pavlova! šŸŽ‚

As we head into the second half of the year, our team is working across an exciting mix of projects at every stage of the journey, including: šŸ—ļø Early feasibility and concept design šŸ“ Masterplanning and site optimisation šŸ›ļø Development Applications (DA) āœ… Complying Development Certificates (CDC) šŸ› ļø Construction documentation and delivery Every project is unique, and that’s what we love most.

Whether we’re helping unlock the potential of a greenfield site, redeveloping an existing facility or delivering complex industrial and commercial projects, our goal is always the same - to create practical, innovative and commercially successful outcomes for our clients.

At PACE ARCHITECTS, we believe the best projects are built on strong relationships. We enjoy partnering with developers, builders, business owners and consultants to solve challenges early, identify opportunities and keep projects moving forward with confidence.

If you’re looking at acquiring a site, planning a new facility, expanding your business or simply exploring what’s possible, we’d love to have a conversation.

A big thank you to our clients, consultants and construction partners for your continued trust. We appreciate every opportunity to be part of your journey. Here’s to another month of collaboration, innovation and building great things together. #

You bring the project... we’ll bring the fire. šŸ”„

PACE ARCHITECTS | CONCEPT IS WHERE VALUE IS CREATED

Every successful development begins long before construction starts.

At PACE Architects, we believe the Concept & Feasibility Phase is where the greatest value is created. This is where experience, strategy and commercial thinking combine to unlock a site’s true potential-before significant investment is made.

For this return client, we have developed the concept for a new Builders Training School within an Artarmon commercial redevelopment precinct. Our objective wasn’t simply to design a building - it was to develop a commercially intelligent strategy that balances planning outcomes, operational efficiency and long-term value.

Our focus included:

āœ” Maximising development yield within planning controls.
āœ” Balancing commercial objectives with Council expectations.
āœ” Testing height, FSR, parking and building efficiency.
āœ” Reducing planning risk before entering the approval process.
āœ” Creating a contemporary architectural identity that strengthens the project’s market appeal.

Great developments are not created by chance-they are created through the quality of decisions made at the very beginning.

This is where PACE Architects consistently delivers value.

We don’t just design buildings. We partner with our clients to identify opportunities, solve complex planning challenges, reduce project risk and maximise development returns.

The Concept Phase isn’t simply the first step of a project… it’s the stage that determines its success.

Think strategically. Design intelligently. Deliver confidently.

šŸ”„ PACE ON FIRE – JUNE šŸ”„

As the weather cools down, we’re turning up the heat at PACE Architects.

Another month, another PACE ON FIRE BBQ—celebrating our people, our wins, and the momentum we’re building together.

This month we celebrated Rebecca’s birthday, wished Luke a well-earned holiday, and welcomed Jane and Joseph to the PACE team.

While the market continues to challenge many businesses, our mindset remains the same: When others slow down, we keep improving.

June has seen exciting progress across projects in Victoria and NSW, with new masterplans, industrial developments, education facilities and major construction milestones all moving forward.

At PACE, we believe the biggest opportunities are created long before construction begins. Great projects start with great planning, strong relationships and a team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.

Here’s to building momentum and making July even bigger.

You bring the project. We’ll bring the fire. šŸ”„

TRANSFORMATION = OPPORTUNITY

The proposed $74 million redevelopment of Mitsubishi Electric’s Rydalmere facility is a powerful example of how Australia’s industrial sector continues to evolve. As land becomes increasingly scarce, leading organisations are reinvesting in existing assets to create smarter, more efficient, and future-focused workplaces.

PACE Architects is proud to be working alongside Richard Crookes Constructions to help deliver this flagship facility, transforming a long-standing industrial site into a modern operational hub that embraces innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The redevelopment will introduce contemporary office environments, advanced warehouse facilities, and multi-level parking infrastructure, while focusing on improved efficiencies, enhanced user experience, environmental performance, and Green Star principles that support long-term business and community outcomes.

Projects like this demonstrate that industrial developments are no longer simply places to store and distribute products-they are strategic assets that drive productivity, attract talent, support sustainability goals, and create lasting value.

The future belongs to those willing to reinvest, innovate, and lead.

Construction 🚧 is well underway stay tuned for more updates.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN IS EVOLVING.

Projects like ESR Westlink Lot 4 for Capital Group are leading that evolution.

Today the team at PACE ARCHITECTS had the opportunity to walk through this outstanding facility and see firsthand how industrial architecture is no longer just about warehouses and storage — it’s about creating integrated environments that combine functionality, efficiency, sustainability, and human experience.

Developed by ESR Australia within the rapidly growing Westlink Industry Park precinct in Western Sydney, the facility delivers:

ā–Ŗ 18,295m² high-performance warehouse
ā–Ŗ Capacity for 16,000+ pallet spaces
ā–Ŗ 2,500m² bulk freight block stack area
ā–Ŗ 2,400m² premium office accommodation
ā–Ŗ Gymnasium, training rooms & collaborative workplace spaces
ā–Ŗ EV charging infrastructure vehicles

PACE ARCHITECTS was engaged by Prime Constructions to assist in the construction delivery phase, while also delivering the interior fitout design and workplace environments for Capital Group.

What makes this project truly stand apart is the balance between industrial performance and workplace experience.

The interiors were carefully designed to soften the scale and rawness of the industrial environment through the integration of warm timber finishes, refined materiality, natural light, textured surfaces, and soft flowing curtains — creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming, sophisticated, calm, and highly human-centric.

This is where industrial architecture is heading.

At PACE ARCHITECTS, we believe the future of industrial design is not just measured in pallet numbers and logistics efficiencies — it’s measured in the quality of the environments we create for the people who occupy them every day.

Projects like this demonstrate our team’s ability to merge large-scale industrial functionality with premium architectural thinking, workplace strategy, sustainability, and strong interior design outcomes.

A huge congratulations to ESR Australia, Prime Constructions, Capital Group, and all consultants and contractors involved in bringing this project to life.

šŸ”„ MAY. FIRE UP THE BBQ. FIRE UP PERFORMANCE. šŸ”„

Momentum is building at PACEARCHITECTS.
This month has been focused on leadership, stronger partnerships, team culture, and driving projects forward across NSW.

šŸ’Ŗ Team workshops completed
šŸ’Ŗ Entire team starting at new gym next door keeping the team sharp
šŸ’Ŗ New project commencement in Heatherbrae NSW
šŸ’Ŗ SSDA Approval achieved for a new Multi-Level Warehouse
šŸ’Ŗ Another multi-level industrial development underway

At PACE, we believe strong culture creates strong performance and the biggest opportunities are created early through the right partnerships, strategy, and momentum.

We also farewelled Dante after almost 3 years with the team and welcomed Kimya back to the office.

The market is shifting — and opportunity favours those ready to move.

You bring the project.
We’ll bring the fire. šŸ”„

PACEARCHITECTS = EMOTION + INNOVATION + STORYTELLING.

At PACEARCHITECTS, we’re not just using AI to create the future - we’re using it to reconnect with the soul of architecture.

In an industry obsessed with hyper-realistic renders and perfection, we’re deliberately reversing the process.

We’re leveraging the power of AI to reimagine past projects through the lens of the iconic 1990s architectural watercolour render style - bringing back the emotion, warmth, atmosphere, and human intent that once defined architectural storytelling.

These weren’t just images.
They were visions.
They carried feeling, mood, imagination, and aspiration.

There was something powerful about the loose brush strokes, softened edges, layered textures, and imperfect beauty of the hand-crafted watercolour sketch. It allowed people to emotionally connect with architecture before it was built.

Now, through AI, we’re reviving that lost art form.

Not as nostalgia for the past - but as a reminder that great architecture is about more than photorealism.

It’s about emotion.
It’s about identity.
It’s about storytelling.

AI is giving us the ability to merge old-world architectural artistry with new-world technology - creating imagery that feels alive again.

Because architecture should never feel cold.
It should inspire people. Move people.
And leave a lasting impression long before construction begins.

šŸ”„ APRIL. Fire up the BBQ. Fire up Performance! šŸ”„

April has been a month of reset, refocus, and building momentum at PACEARCHITECTS.

With the Easter break giving everyone a moment to pause, we’ve taken the opportunity to go deeper - not just into our projects, but into how we operate as a team.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been running internal workshops focused on:

Ā·Ā Ā Team building
Ā·Ā Ā Delivering a higher level of customer service
Ā·Ā Ā Reassessing our Values, Time management and efficiency
Ā·Ā Ā Strengthening leadership across the business

Because here’s the reality - the market may be slowing with all the global chaos, but that’s not a signal to sit back.

šŸ‘‰ It’s a signal to level up.

While others wait, we’re working in the background to sharpen our systems, strengthen our people, and elevate our service offering -Ā so when the market moves, we’re already ahead.

We also took time out to wish Nicole our Project Leader a Happy Birthday!

🚧 PROJECT MOMENTUM BUILDING

We’re excited to see our multi-level development in Granville restarting, bringing energy back into the pipeline.

Forecasting - May is shaping up strong:

Ā·Ā Discussions underway for new projects
Ā· Exploring regional areas with new clients
Ā·Ā Commencement of another multi-level industrial development

This marks our 6th multi-level warehouse in NSW and more importantly - designed by PACEARCHITECTS šŸ‘‰ This means greater efficiency, smarter layouts, and real cost savings for our clients - not just design for design’s sake.

We don’t wait for opportunities.
We build capability so we’re ready when they come.
Stronger team. Sharper thinking. Better outcomes.

If you’re reviewing sites, testing feasibility, or preparing for delivery - let’s talk early - or better still, join us at our next BBQ. In our experience, the real value uplift happens before a DA - not after.

You bring the project.
We’ll bring the fire. šŸ”„
