"There's so much to do!"
"Where do I start and what do I do?"
"Is this good enough, should I do more?"
When you notice that you're starting to overthink things again, try this:
(1) Clearly identify these thoughts you're overthinking and write them down. If you have more than just one concern, arrange them according to priority and urgency.
(2) Now start to address them one by one by writing down your best options for each of these concerns.
(3) Of these solutions that you've laid out, pick the best one possible. And that's done!
Now set that plan into motion. And then the last trick, which is probably the most important of all—Trust yourself and then Let Go!
Too often, we dwell on issues without clearly articulating what we’re overthinking. Visualizing the process and the solution will give you an idea of where to start and what direction to take.
