We're pleased to welcome Patrice Godon, former Head of Logistics and Infrastructure for the French Polar Institute (IPEV), as keynote speaker at the upcoming TPN Antarctic and Southern Ocean Opportunities Forum.

Patrice has spent more than four decades supporting Antarctic operations and played a key role in major international projects including Concordia Station and Antarctic traverse programs.

During the Australian Antarctic Festival the Antarctic Women's Network will be commencing work on our major project 'Ice & Islands, Australia's First Women to the South'. While the ten participants are in Hobart we have also arranged for three of them to participate in a public panel presentation as part of the AAF.

The Antarctic Women's Network Through Our Eyes exhibition is now open at L'Australie en France the Australian Embassy in Paris. It's open to the public (make sure you take ID) and will be there for several months.

The Opening of the Through our Eyes Exhibition at the Australian Embassy in Paris was the culmination of two years work! HW Ambassador Lynette Wood graciously hosted the diplomatic corps and VIP guests. We are thrilled to showcase Australian and French Antarctic women and four of the participants were in the room! Thank you all for your contributions!
