If someone asked me why I believe an online business is one of the better ways to create some extra household income these days, I could probably talk about it all day. 😂
But honestly, for me, it comes down to a few simple things.
You can start without the huge costs that come with many traditional businesses.
You can build it around your life, your family and your existing commitments, instead of having your whole life revolve around the business.
You also get access to training, support and people who are willing to share what they’ve learned. And sometimes, you end up learning skills you never thought you’d need or even be capable of learning.
Then there are the products. Being able to share something you genuinely like and believe in makes a big difference.
But you know what I think is one of the best parts?
The people you meet. ❤️
I started working online back in 2019, and over the years, I’ve met some incredible people.
Some started as customers or business connections and eventually became genuine friends.
And because it’s online, you’re not limited to people who live around the corner. 🌎
I have built friendships and relationships with people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Some I’ve never even met in person, yet they’ve still become an important part of my journey.
That’s pretty amazing when you think about it.
Of course, I’m not saying an online business is easy or that everyone is going to make money from it.
It still takes work.
It takes consistency.
It takes patience.
And there are no guarantees.
But for me, having the chance to learn, grow, help people, meet amazing people and build something of my own has made it worth it.
Almost 7 years later, I’m still here. 🙌🩵
And if I’m being completely honest, the people and relationships I’ve gained along the way are probably what I’m most grateful for. ❤️🌎
