🎄🚪 We’re clocking off for Christmas! 🚪🎄

All Things Pest Control will be closed from 1PM Friday 19th December, reopening bright and early at 7AM Monday 5th January 2026.

We’re swapping spray packs for Santa hats 🎅 and taking a well-earned break to recharge for a big 2026.

In the meantime, ants might get a little organised, cockroaches could invite the extended family over, and spiders may start acting like they pay the mortgage —
but honestly… that sounds like a 2026 problem 😎

🎄 Found termites over the Christmas break? Take a breath first.

We know it’s stressful discovering termites when many businesses are closed, but the most important thing you can do right now is NOT disturb them. No spraying, no digging, no pulling things apart — the less they’re disturbed, the better.

While termites can move quickly, leaving them undisturbed over the Christmas closure (around two weeks) is not an issue. When we return, you’ll be at the top of our list to contact.

Our remedial treatments work best when termite activity is present, allowing us to track and eliminate the colony at its source. Disturbing them often causes termites to scatter into inaccessible areas, making effective treatment far more difficult.

Effective January 1, 2025, changes to Queensland Electrical Safety Regulations now require new safety measures for accessing roof voids or ceiling spaces during pest control services.

𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:

Power must be switched off before our technicians can enter the roof void/ceiling space.
The mains power must be turned off at the meter box by you or a nominated person.
If you are unsure how to do this, please consult a qualified electrician.

Our technician will notify you when it is safe to switch it back on. In situations where you are not present, the technician will turn power back on once access to the roof space is not required.

If uninterrupted power is required for medical devices or other reasons, or if you choose not to turn off the power, our technicians will proceed with your service without accessing the roof void/ceiling space. Rest assured, our technicians are trained to conduct comprehensive inspections using alternative methods if this area is inaccessible. We utilize various tools and techniques to ensure we assess all areas of your property as thoroughly as possible, even without accessing the roof space directly.
