Will it still look good in five years?
Fair question. It's a tattoo on your head.
Done properly, SMP doesn't go patchy or change colour. It softens. Most of my clients come back for a touch-up somewhere around the 3 to 5 year mark, and that's it.

Sometimes I tell people "not yet."
Not everyone who calls me should book right away.
If you have an active scalp condition, we need to deal with that first, because I can't promise how the pigment will heal over it. If you have keloid scarring, I'll send you to a dermatologist before I touch it.

Why does some SMP turn blue?
If you've seen scalp micro-pigmentation that looks blue or green a few years later, it was avoidable.

I use a charcoal-based pigment and dilute it to match each client's shade. On lighter skin tones I add a drop of brown, which counters the blue and green shift before it ever starts.

Done properly, SMP doesn't change colour. It just softens over time, and most of my clients come back for a touch-up somewhere around the 3 to 5 year mark.
