You may have seen the term “Regional Innovation Centre” and wondered what it actually means.
Here’s the straightforward answer:
Regional Innovation Centres – or RICs – are organizations designated by the Province of Ontario to help entrepreneurs and innovators build businesses that can compete and grow globally.
They primarily support early-stage and growing technology and innovation companies, helping them turn ideas into marketable products and services while attracting the talent, capital, and customers they need to grow.
In practice, that includes:
• Expert advice and mentorship
• Training and workshops
• Market intelligence
• Connections to resources, funding, and partners
Boundless Accelerator is proud to be one of Ontario’s Regional Innovation Centres.
That means we’re not just a local resource. We’re part of a province wide network helping founders and business owners overcome challenges, access the right support, and grow beyond their own backyard.
If you’re building something innovative and wondering whether we might be the right fit, we’d be happy to have that conversation.
