Bena runs The Lawyer Mindset. She came for marketing advice and help navigating the tech, and wanted a site built around her clients rather than one that just looked good.

Your students don't quit because your course is bad. They quit because they're doing it alone.
Thinkific has a community feature built right into the platform. No extra tool to buy, no second login for your students.
Access is the setting to get right first. There are four options, and the one you pick decides whether you can set a price at all, and whether anyone outside your course can even see it.
The full build is up on the YouTube channel now. Link in the first comment.

Ever bought a course, added it to your bookmarks, and never opened it again?

Yeah. So has the person who's about to buy yours.

That's what happens when you don't have a community for your students.

Episode 7 of the free Thinkific setup series is up. I build a community inside Thinkific from scratch, set up the access so the right people can access it, and link it back to the course so they can get between the two in one click.

A bad order bump makes your buyer wonder whether they clicked the wrong thing. A good one improves the purchase they already decided on. Selling a fitness course? The recipe ebook belongs on that checkout. A course on a different topic does not. The test is one question: does this make what they are already buying better? Keep it small, keep it obvious, keep it related. Episode 6 of the free Thinkific setup series is live on my YouTube channel.

You are leaving money on your Thinkific checkout. An order bump is a small, relevant add-on offered at the moment your buyer is already reaching for their card. No new audience, no extra traffic, no launch. It raises the value of a sale you were making anyway, and it is one of the fastest things on the platform to switch on. Episode 6 of the free Thinkific setup series is live on my YouTube channel.

Your course is finished. So you open the product page and start typing out what is inside the course.

That is where it goes wrong, and it goes wrong on nearly every page I look at. A course sales page is not a description of your course. It is a story that leads a visitor to a purchase.

100% of the people who land on your page see your hero section. Only 40% ever scroll. So the top section is not an introduction to the page. For most of your visitors, it decides whether they scroll - and ultimately purchase your course.

Episode 5 of the free Thinkific setup series is live. The sections a page needs and what each one is for, the theme settings to fix before you build your first page, and three different ways to actually build it.
