7 EVENTS. 6,069 POINTS. πŸ”₯

Combined events are one of the ultimate tests in athletics β€” asking athletes to sprint, hurdle, jump, throw and run across multiple disciplines, with every performance contributing to one overall score.

Earlier this year, Northern Ireland's Anna McCauley put together an outstanding 6,069-point heptathlon, becoming just the second Irish woman to break the 6,000-point barrier.

Seven events. Two days. One score.

Now it's your turn to take on the challenge.

The NI & Ulster Combined Events Championships are coming to Mary Peters Track on 29–30 August, with competition for athletes from U13 through to Senior and Masters.

Can you master them all?

⏰ Entries close midnight Friday 21 August.

COMBINED EVENTS ARE FOR EVERYONE. πŸ’ͺ

Think combined events are just for young athletes? Think again.

This year's NI & Ulster Combined Events Championships will feature Masters categories, giving athletes the opportunity to take on the challenge, compete for Championship honours and test themselves across multiple events.

Whether you're an experienced multi-eventer or looking to take on something different, there's a place for you at Mary Peters Track.

FROM COMBINED EVENTS TO COMMONWEALTH GOLD πŸ₯‡

Seven events. One champion.

Just weeks ago, Northern Ireland's Kate O'Connor became Commonwealth Games Heptathlon Champion in Glasgow.

Her current heptathlon PB stands at an incredible 6,714 points, following her World Championship silver medal-winning performance in 2025.

Combined events are where speed, strength, endurance and versatility all come together β€” and the next generation of multi-event athletes will be taking on their own challenge at the NI & Ulster Combined Events Championships.
