🎭 INVERNESS FRINGE FESTIVAL ~ 28 SEPTEMBER – 4 OCTOBER

A week of creativity and performance is coming to Inverness as the Highlands’ first ever InverNess Fringe Festival takes place from 28 September to 4 October!

Life-saving additions to Eastgate Precinct ❤️

Nationwide have installed two new emergency units outside their Eastgate Precinct branch, a public access defibrillator and a separate emergency blood control kit.

Both are available for public use in an emergency, providing valuable life-saving equipment in Inverness city centre.

Inverness BID also has five public access defibrillators located across the city centre, with all locations easy to find on the Love Inverness app (free from your App Store)

Following an incident in Inverness city centre involving local busker Joshua Sole and members of the Inverness BID Task Team, we would like to offer an unequivocal and sincere apology to Joshua Sole for the way the situation was handled.

When we get something wrong, it is important that we acknowledge it and take responsibility. Following an immediate review of the circumstances, it is clear that this matter could and should have been handled differently. We are extremely sorry for the upset and concern the incident has caused.

Further steps will now be taken to review the handling of this situation. We are keen to put things right and ensure that lessons are learned for the future.

Buskers and street entertainers are an important and welcome part of Inverness city centre, adding to its character and atmosphere.

We remain committed to supporting buskers and street entertainers and to ensuring that any issues which arise are dealt with fairly, respectfully and constructively.

🚌 Celebrating Our 3,000th Coach!

A fantastic milestone for our Coach & Visitor Ambassador service, with our 3,000th coach of the 2026 season arriving on 25th August, when MSC Preziosa was docked at Invergordon.
